The hot dog, traditionally grilled or steamed and typically served in a sliced bun, right? Oh, how wrong we were. Judging by the video above by organic meat supplier Applegate, their film demonstrates that there’s so much to your hot dog than what ‘meats the eye’.

Featuring a culinary spin-around of 20 US states, the film titled, Hot Dog & the City takes you on a whirl wind tour of how local cultures have adapted the savoury treat. Whilst some cities take on the classic hot dog are stranger than others – skip to 50 seconds for Portland’s twist - the film is guaranteed to leave you salivating in its wake.

Last year, Dior’s memorising film campaign left the hairs on the back of our neck stand on end and the Depech Mode ‘Enjoy the Silence’ soundtrack forever looping in our minds.

This week, the second chapter of the tale has bee released which sees the beautiful Daria Strokous star again in Raf Simons’ latest AW13 surrealist film. Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin the film follows Strokous – and her doleful eyes – running once again through the halls of Versailles and in a forest outside Petit Trianon.

According to WWD, the dream-like film was inspired by Édouard Manet’s celebrated painting, ‘Luncheon on the Grass’, whilst others have seen inklings of inspiration from Fragonard’s seminal rococo painting ‘The Swing,’ painted ca. 1767.

Either way, the poetic film features the AW13 collection in extraordinary splendour.

There’s nothing like melting ice-cream vans to a giant message-in-a-bottle floating in the sea to grab Sherbet’s attention. Just as well that the trendy town of Aarhus is hosting the latest ‘Sculpture by the Sea’ festival then.
Launched in 1997, the exhibitions take place biennially in Australia and Scandinavia, exhibiting an awe-inspiring mix of sculptures from across the world to be shown on the public lawns, beach and forests.
Now, please excuse us while we go and investigate flights to the hip town…

Ere, I want what he’s having. That being a radio crafted entirely out of food that consists of, spring onions, grapefruit, cucumber, red chilli, horseradish, carrot, lime, mango and lashings of imagination.

Announced back in August, the time has come for London’s top designers to unveil their Minnie Mouse inspired outfits as part of London Fashion Week.
In celebration of the famous Disney character, the fashion likes of Lulu Guinness, Giles Deacon, Richard Nicoll and Katie Hillier have doted on Minnie’s inimitable style and summoned up a collection that features everything from attention-grabbing dresses, polka dot handbags to more subtle gold-cut necklaces and brooches.
These one-off items will be sold at an eBay charity auction in hope of raising money for the Fashion Arts Foundation - a foundation which aims to support and strengthen the relationships between the fashion, film, music and art worlds.

The video look-book for Miu Miu’s AW12 collection is a thing of beauty. To showcase the collection Miu Miu commissioned four well respected women in the film industry to create four films entitled ‘Women’s Tales’. This particular tale, created by Massy Tadjedin, stars Patricia Clarkson and Gemma Arterton to the haunting, melancholy soundtrack of Zola Jesus’.

There’s so much to love about the film but what really stands out is how the collection translates from the catwalk to everyday living.
